PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

RIPEET's main objective is to develop a methodology to co-create itineraries for energy transition led by European regions and their innovation ecosystems. Thus, the project will bring together key players from three territories: Extremadura (ES), the Highlands and Islands of Scotland (UK) and Ostrobothnia (FI); and participatory tools will be developed to promote a sustainable energy future. To achieve the goals of the project, companies and entrepreneurs from the R+D+I sector, public entities and civil society organizations will work together and generate personalized paths for the energy transition.

The project is organized in 3 phases: (i) mapping definition of strategies, (2) itineraries and pilots in the selected regions, and (iii) sustainability and exploitation of the results so that they can be replicated in other “mirror” regions.
