The 1st Summit on the Transition of the Rehabilitation Financing Sector will be held in Madrid.

The 1st Summit on the transition of the rehabilitation financing sector is being organized by the European project AUNA. About AUNA

AUNA was born as a permanent multilateral forum promoting sustainable financing in the energy rehabilitation of the building stock. For this, and with the aim of becoming a permanent space where all the stakeholders involved can cooperate, AUNA develops activities such as webinars on good practices, discussion tables or focus groups devoted to the debate on the different financial instruments and rehabilitation management tools, as a sort of open lab for citizens. Furthermore, AUNA also actively participates with other events and projects in the sector under the AUNA CONNECTED EVENT label, reinforcing thus the relations between the key stakeholders in the building rehabilitation and financing sectors.

With funds from the H2020 program, AUNA is part of the Smart Finance for Smart Buildings initiative of the European Commission. In addition, it develops in Spain the work of the Sustainable Energy Investment Forums (SEIF), also an EU initiative, whose objective is to promote investment and large-scale financing to promote sustainable energy.

AUNA also contributes to reach the objectives of the National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan 2021-2030 (PNIEC) and the 2023 Update of the Long-term Strategy for Energy Rehabilitation in the Building Sector in Spain (ERESEE), in line with the European Directive on Energy Efficiency of Buildings.

The AUNA consortium is made up of nine organizations: GBCe (Green Building Council Spain), Greenward Partners, UCI, CoHispania, AFI (International Financial Analysts), Ecooo, AGENEX, ICCL and AEICE. The consortium is made up of institutions that are complementary to each other, with the support of an Advisory Council that is composed by professionals of highly recognized international prestige in the areas covered by the project.

Its Advisory Board is made up of eleven experts: Juan Carlos Delrieu Alcaraz (AEB), Begoña Leyva Gómez, Francisco Javier Martín Ramiro (MITMA), Rachel Tully (AGENEX), Adrian Joyce (Renovate Europe Campaign), Audrey Nugent (WorldGBC), Peter Sweatman (Climate Strategy), Isidoro Tapia Ramírez (BEI), Miguel Ángel García Fuentes (CARTIF) and Mariangiola Fabbri (BPIE)
